PM Pierre commends opening of state-of-the-art Medical Diagnostic Centre in Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia: Philip J. Pierre, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, expressed delight while attending the opening ceremony of the La Clinique du Corp Ltd Centre of Excellence Medical Diagnostic Centre in Rodney Bay. During the launch ceremony PM Pierre expressed gratitude towards the entrepreneurs for establishing state-of-the-art medical facility for the people of Saint Lucia.
PM Pierre while addressing the gathering at the newly opened La Clinique du Corp Ltd Centre of Excellence Medical Diagnostic Centre in Rodney Bay, thanked the entrepreneurs for showcasing their confidence in Saint Lucia’s economy. He further added that the government has been consistently working in advancing the economy of the island nation.
Further, PM Pierre highlighted the role that this medical facility will play in advancing healthcare services. He also emphasized how these ventures would create job opportunities for locals and contribute to the economy’s growth.
Sharing about the initiatives that have been started under the Pierre-led administration, the Prime Minister said that the administration has been continuously supporting the business ventures and helping them from the beginning till the level of their growth.
PM Pierre talked about the active support the government has been providing to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME’s). In this series they have been constantly providing loans and grants under the MSME Loan Grant Facility to the entrepreneurial minds that qualify.
Additionally, the Pierre-led administration has been working hard to provide young entrepreneurs with an environment that fosters their ideas and empowers their skills. PM Pierre stated that we have been focusing on the “youth-driven economic initiatives”, under the Youth Economy Agency with the aim of converting the young minds’ hobbies into business ventures.
Also, the government of Saint Lucia has implemented VAT exemptions on medical equipment with the mission to strengthen the healthcare ventures and the community and help them expand and improve their services.
PM Pierre referred to the opening of the Medical Diagnostic Centre as a valuable addition to the medical sector and the economy of Saint Lucia.
