St Kitts and Nevis: Constituency 8 to celebrate St Peters Festival
The festival in St Kitts and Nevis will feature several exciting activities including calypso shows, queen shows, parties, street jam sessions, late night limes and many more.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Constituency #8 is all set to celebrate the St Peters Festival, commemorating the vibrant and rich culture, talent and comradery that make this community special. The festival is all set to celebrate from 5th October to 27th October, 2024 under the theme “One Community Moving with Togetherness.”
The festival features several exciting activities including calypso shows, queen shows, parties, street jam sessions, late night limes and many more. This festival brings entire community together and celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation by unity, brotherhood and togetherness.
While extending welcome to all the citizens to celebrate the St Peter’s Festival, the authorities noted “Let’s come together and make this festival unforgettable!”
The festival will begin with an Opening Ceremony on 5th October 2024 which will include a Family and Food Fair, bringing all the citizens of the community together and showcasing the delicious delicacies of the island nation. The fair will also create a huge opportunity for the local citizens to showcase their culinary talent and promote the local flavours and ingredients of St Kitts and Nevis.
Following the next day, the authorities will host a Church Service which will include hymns, Bible readings, prayers and a sermon. The 7v7 Football league will mark its opening ceremony on 8th October 2024 and will be played till 22nd October 2024.
The 7v7 Football is a fast pace, pass focused form of football that was designed with a vision to enhance the skills of quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, defensive-backs & linebackers in the off season.
After that, the opening ceremony of Cricket League T10 will be held on 9th October 2024 and will be played till 23rd October 2024. This league is a short form of cricket which is restricted to a maximum of ten overs (60 legal balls) per side, with the game lasting approximately 90 minutes.
On 12th October, 2024 the festival will host Community Health Walk and Exercise Session which means a walk for Peace. It will be held with a vision to foster healthy mental and physical life. The next day i.e. 13th October, 2024 the authorities will host an Elderly Appreciation Day in order to increase awareness of the factors and issues that affect older adults, such as health deterioration and elder abuse.
On 19th October, the authorities will host Jouvert Morning and Frieye Concert on 25th October, 2024. And, the next day, people will dress up in costume, accompanied by marching bands for a Parade Day and After Party on 26th October 2024.
And, the festival management will host Miss St. Peter’s Queen Pageant under the theme “Crime Prevention.” The event will celebrate the beauty, charm and elegance of the Constituency #8, St Peter’s.
