The Pioneers of the Industry Competition in St Kitts and Nevis is a great platform for individuals from the service and hospitality industry to showcase their skills.
Starting from 4pm onwards on Wednesday 27 November, the competition will be hosted at the St Kitts Marriott Ballroom.
Managed by the Tourism Authority, the competition is not only limited to culinary services, but also includes a spot for people into bartending, housekeeping, dining services and more.
People associated with the hospitality and service industry across the Federation have been invited.
It is a part of the month-long celebration of the Tourism Awareness Month 2024 and plays a huge role in providing an opportunity for the local chefs to showcase their culinary skills and foster the rich and delicious side of St Kitts and Nevis.
One Competition – Five Categories
The Pioneers of the Industry Competition will be conducted in 5 different categories including-
- Culinary
- Dining Service
- Internal Maintenance
- Bartender and Housekeeping
- The authorities have ensured to offer a plethora of experiences which will be insightful for all the attendees.
Engaging for all the attendees
The tourism authority said that the attendees will get a chance to learn various skills such as culinary, service, and hospitality, thus making the most of their visit. While shedding light on the Pioneers of the Industry Competition, the tourism authority noted that this event is a testament to their unwavering commitment and dedication to foster sustainability by hosting such kinds of competitions.
The tourism authority noted that they are dedicated to celebrate the industry’s talent and give a platform to everyone so that they can showcase their skills, talent and techniques.
“Join us for the Pioneers of the Industry Competition on Wednesday, 27 November 2024, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort at 4 PM,” said Tourism Authority of St Kitts and Nevis.
Free entry
The entry fee for the people to attend the event is free. The tourism authority expressed their desire of attracting large number of citizens, aiming to offer an engaging and insightful experience to all the attendees.
Tourism Awareness Month 2024
The celebration of the tourism awareness month 2024 began from 31st October and will be conducted till 28th November, 2024. The celebration is being conducted under the theme, “Tourism for Tomorrow: Driven by Community, Committed to Sustainability.”
Highlighting on the celebration, the tourism authority stated that they are committed to foster their international co-operation, sustainable development, and cultural exchange with their primary motive of making St Kitts and Nevis, a leading eco-tourism destination.
