Castries, Saint Lucia: HelpAWS, the Castries-based dog shelter organisation, has shared the details regarding the ‘Mother’s Day Raffle’ and invited the general public to participate in a fun event and win some amazing prizes.
The organisation took it to social media and informed the public that “The pups wanted to remind everyone that you still have ten days to get your entries in for our Mother’s Day Raffle! We have five amazing prize packages available, and we know any special person in your life would be thrilled to receive these as a gift.”
While sharing the ways to enter the contest, the dog shelter mentioned:
Tickets can be purchased by sending in your donation via e-transfer, PayPal, or Zelle to donate@helpaws.com or via Venmo to @helpaws! Please be sure to add your address, email and full name in your entry.
“Donations of $25 get you three entries to the raffle, a $50 donation gets you seven entries, and $100 gets you 15 entries, + you get to name a special pup in our care!” it outlined.
Furthermore, it informed about the number of winners. According to the latest update by HelpAWS, there will be five (5) winners of this contest. “Did we mention there will be 5 LUCKY WINNERS!!” the update read.
It also hinted that the more tickets one purchase, the greater will be chances are to win one of these amazing prizes.
“You will also receive an emailed card stating a donation has been made on your behalf, and you have also been entered into our Mother’s Day Raffle,” it stated.
Winners will be announced on May 13th, 2023, according to the update by the Castries-based organisation.
Besides this, the organisation has also appealed to the tourists and travellers coming to Saint Lucia to become flight parents and take the pups to their forever homes. “Summer means the start of the slow season for tourism in St Lucia, and that means flights will be few and far between for our little munchkins,” it mentioned.
HelpAWS added, “Many won’t be able to travel to their forever homes, and we fear that our already filled shelter will become even more packed. And if we’re unable to get our babies to their forever homes, we won’t be able to make space for the countless new intakes who desperately need our care. Flight parents are the most cost-effective way we are able to get our babies off the island. We can never thank them enough for the amount of love and joy they bring to the amazing adopters eagerly waiting for their pups.”
