Saint Lucia: The Tourism, Investment, Creative, Industries, Culture, and Information Ministry, in partnership with the Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) and the Carnival Planning and Management Committee, will announce the dates for Saint Lucia Carnival 2023 and unveil the calendar of activities on Wednesday.
By being one of the first islands to launch a compelling lineup for Carnival 2023, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority will join in the announcement as we lead with a media launch on October 6 in Miami, Florida. This initiative serves as part of our strategy to capture the early gains from the pent-up demand for the next staging of the Saint Lucia Carnival.
The media launch of the Saint Lucia Carnival was held on Wednesday, October 5, at 10 am, at the GIS studios.
The exciting and culturally rich Saint Lucia Carnival will be held between July 1 and 19, 2023, according to the announcement by the Tourism Ministry, in collaboration with the Cultural Development Foundation and the Carnival Planning and Management Committee.
The Ministry has also shared the calendar for the exciting event, which includes Panorama, the Carnival Queen Show, J’ouvert, private parties, concerts, Calypso and Soca Monarch competitions, King and Queen of the Bands, and the two-day Parade of the Bands.
As per the organising authorities, the activities will be hosted in the following series:
• July 1 – Carnival Queen Pageant
• July 2 – The return of Junior Carnival
• July 6 – Inter-commercial Calypso Competition
• July 7 – National Soca Monarch
• July 8 – National Calypso Monarch
• July 9 – Panorama competition
• July 10 – King and Queen of the Bands
• July 17 – National J’ouvert
• July 17 and 18 – Parade of the Bands
As Saint Lucia is a must-visit destination for and Saint Lucia Carnival 2023 will surely become a focal point for the upcoming regional and international fall, winter, and summer global marketing roadshows.
