DPM Ernest Hilaire lauds SLTA for promoting Saint Lucia as premier destination

Castries, Saint Lucia: Dr Ernest Hilaire, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Tourism of Saint Lucia, recently lauded the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority for its efforts and hard work to promote the island nation as a premier destination to spend quality time.
The Deputy Prime Minister took to official social media to share his viewpoint on the dedication shown by the Tourism Authority. “Yesterday reminded me of the hard work that the staff of the SLTA put in to ensure that Saint Lucia is promoted as a premier destination,” he noted through social media.
Furthermore, he recalled Thursday as a long day spent with the travel partners and agents in Showcase 2023. He outlined that he addressed Day 4, and Saint Lucia was promoted as a brand destination.
“Thursday was a long day of updates and briefings between our travel partners and travel agents,” he was quoted saying.
He added, “We also got to view a couple of the Black Cabs used in our Summer Saint Lucia Style Campaign. It involved 14 taxis with two designs and will be on the streets for 12 months.”
As per the update shared by the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, the day was concluded with the 28th edition of the Saint Lucia Gala Dinner. The dinner was attended by various leaders of the diaspora as well as other outstanding travel partners recognized for their contribution to promoting Saint Lucia. It was inspiring to have the talented Curmiah perform and show off the best of Saint Lucia.
“It was a night to remember,” outlined the Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire.
