Barbados: The Barbados Revenue Authority has announced a convenient service for the residents of Barbados to pay their land tax bills for 2024-25 online. The announcement was made after the authorities issued the Land Tax bills for 2024-2025.

The land bills, dated April 30, 2024, have already been made available online for the property owners and the physical bills will be distributed via post in the coming days.

This facility has been started keeping in mind the convenience of the residents of Barbados. With this now they can pay their bills from the comfort of their homes, without the hassle of standing in queues.

The benefit that this new system will provide is, 24/7 accessibility, reduced to nil paperwork, easy and fast processing of the bills. Also the residents can easily access and review their Land Tax bills from anywhere in the world.

The Barbados Revenue Authority has also announced that if the Land Tax Bill is paid online, the payer will receive a 10% discount on the amount of the bill. This offer is valid till 15th July, 2024.

However, the residents who are still willing to pay their bill in person, they can pay by visiting at any of the payment centres that are, Holetown Public Centre, Warrens Tower II (2nd floor), Pine, Bridge Street Mall at Bridgetown and Southern Plaza at Oistins.

The payers who will be paying in person at the above-mentioned paying centres will also get a discount of 10% till 29th May, 2024, and a 5% discount till 29th June, 2024.

The residents who are willing to access, review and pay their bill online should first visit the website of the Barbados Revenue Authority that is bra.gov.bb, and go to the ‘Land & Property’ section of the portal to register (in case it is first time) or login (if already registered) to the portal.

The authorities also shared that they will be constantly launching new services on the Land Tax portal during the month of May.
