The interCaribbean airways announced the cancellation of flight operations for Monday due to the adverse effects of Hurricane Beryl. The management is closely monitoring the hurricane’s progress and has promised to restart its services once authorities consider it safe to do so.
As per the National Hurricane Centre, the Beryl is expected to be an extremely dangerous when it reaches to Windward Islands. Also, the interCaribbean Airways have extended their support to the Caribbean regions namely Barbados, Grenada, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia and Dominica who are under a serious threat of Hurricane Beryl.
The management of the airlines have also apologized to all the affected passengers for the inconvenience and have stated that they will soon be contacted with rebooking options. Change fees are waived for these cancellations. Moreover, the airways have asked the passengers to follow their social media pages or website for the further updates on resuming of flight services.
A life-threatening storm surge and damaging waves are expected due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl. Therefore, the flights have also been cancelled in order to ensure the protection of every passenger.
