Bridgetown, Barbados: The Barbados Royals took a moment to praise West Indies and their all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall for his outstanding century in just 45 balls. Cornwall made this outstanding ton during the 18th Match of the sports tournament, in the Match against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
The sports star again made the headlines following being trolled for getting run out earlier in the tournament. It is to be highlighted that Cornwall’s efforts and exceptional batting skills helped the Royals to secure victory in the Match.
The major highlights of the inning were 12 humongous sixes smashed by the Cornwall’s bat. Out of the total, two sixes measured around 110 meters and 111 meters.
These efforts by Cornwall helped him to become the man of the Match.
Along with this, Barbados Royals also shared a dedicated post on social media, praising and lauding the bat-dropping celebration style of its iconic player. It is anticipated that through the celebration, he replied to each and every person who trolled him for his performance in the previous Match.
The cricketing franchise shared a collage consisting of the players of Royals, including India’s iconic batter – Virat Kohli, England batsmen – Joe Root and Ben Stokes, as well as West Indies all-rounder – Rahkeem Cornwall.
The collage showed all the players celebrating their ton with impressive style. Following this, Royals shared a caption, which read, “Who’s got the coldest celebration in cricket?”
The general public of the Caribbean Region has been enjoying the Caribbean Premier League 2023. Many fans have been following their favourite cricketer throughout the tournament. Some of the fans and followers took the comment section of the post and shared the names of their favourite players.
