St Kitts and Nevis: PM Dr Terrance Drew to present three bills to National Assembly on March 4
The government of St Kitts and Nevis has recently shared an update regarding the three bills which were received their first readings and one second reading in the National Assembly on March 7, 2023 (Tuesday).

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The government of St Kitts and Nevis has recently shared an update regarding the three bills which were received their first readings and one second reading in the National Assembly on March 7, 2023 (Tuesday). According to the update by the administration, on Tuesday, the National Assembly witnessed the circulation of the Order Paper.
The Assembly was held at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters in Basseterre. The commencing time of the Assembly will be 10 am, and for the same, the notice has been issued, the update informed. The introductory leave will be sought by the Prime Minister and the Minister responsible for Finance, National Security, Citizenship and Immigration, and the Minister of Health and Social Security – Dr Terrance Drew. The first time Banking (Amendment) Bill 2023, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (Amendment) Bill 2023, and Midwives and Nurses (Registration) (Amendment) Bill 2023 will be introduced.
Along with this, Prime Minister Drew will be moving ahead with the second reading of the Nurses and Midwives (Registration) (Amendment) Bill, 2023.
According to the update by the government of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, ZIZ Radio (96 FM), along with other participating radio stations, will be responsible for the broadcasting of the National Assembly. Additionally, it will be streamed live at www.zizonline.com. The government has also mentioned that in St Kitts, it can be viewed on TV Channel 5 and in Nevis on Channel 98.
As per the official updates, various sections of the aforementioned Bills will be amended by the government of the Federation. These Bills will deal with domestic and foreign issues as well as programmes. It will also emphasize the allotment of the appropriate money to various government agencies.
