St Kitts: 6 Queens set to fight for crown at Miss Swimsuit Showcase 

Six queens chosen from across the Federation are set to fight for the crown at the Miss Swimsuit showcase at the Carnival Village. 

The separate swimsuit competition is the newest addition to the Miss St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Pageant, allowing young ladies to showcase their elegance and beauty. 

The Miss Swimsuit Showcase will start from 4:30 pm onwards on 8 December 2024.People from across the Federation have been invited to be a part of this spectacular celebration, which ensures to showcase talent and elegance.

The six queens selected to vie for the ultimate crown includes,

2.   Vanessa Simon
3.   Daneika Dickenson
4.   Tyanna Richards
5.   Tonia Manners
6.   Mikaya Collins

Ticket Price

The tickets have also been made available and can be purchased online via www.skncarnival.com. The ticket for Miss St Kitts and Nevis Swimsuit Showcase is available at EC$30. Meanwhile, tickets for the Miss St Kitts and Nevis Queen Pageant are available at EC$30 for Child Admission and EC$50 for General Admission.

Miss Swimsuit Showcase

The Miss Swimsuit Showcase pageant promises an evening of beauty, creativity and culture. The Miss SKN Queen Pageant Ambassadors will dazzle in two captivating swimsuit segments including,

•         Vintage Glamour
•         C’est Moi (It’s Me).

Also, the Swimsuit Showcase will feature vibrant entertainment, captivating works by local fashion designers and artisans, and a few exciting surprises.

Shedding light on the inaugural Swimsuit Showcase, Minister of Creative Economies and Cooperatives- Samal Duggins said that its introduction is a great opportunity for the contestants. It will allow them to shine in two different segments while keeping the main competition concise and crowd-friendly.

The Carnival Chairwoman- Shannon Hawley also shared her views on the addition of the Miss Carnival Swimsuit Showcase to the Miss St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Pageant. She said that the introduction of the showcase is a testament to their commitment towards maximizing the entertainment for all the attendees.

The authorities said that they are committed to continue to bring innovating ideas with a vision to elevate the Miss SKN Pageant experience for not only the participants but also the visitors.

Miss St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Pageant

Miss St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Pageant is considered as a huge platform for the ladies to showcase their beauty and talent on stage.

The National Carnival Pageant is a part of Sugar Mas 53, the finals will take place on Thursday, 19th December, 2024.

Sugar Mas 53

Sugar Mas 53 is a month-long carnival season which will feature several events including, fetes, pageants, calypso competitions and many others.

This year, Sugar Mas season will take place in the island nation from 13th December, 2024 to 2nd January, 2025 under the slogan, “There is only one place to be SugarMas53.”

Highlighting on the Sugar Mas 53, Minister Samal Duggins said that they are working in the advanced stages of preparation for this year’s carnival. He added that they are committed to ensure the successful execution of the 2024-2025 national carnival.
