Skyla Connor to represent St Kitts and Nevis in 2nd Inter-Club Swim Meet in Barbados
The sole representative for St Kitts and Nevis Aquatics, Skyla Connor is all set to participate at the 2nd Inter-Club Invitational Swim Meet held by the Pirates Swim Club.

The sole representative for St Kitts and Nevis Aquatics, Skyla Connor is all set to participate at the 2nd Inter-Club Invitational Swim Meet held by the Pirates Swim Club. This swim meet has been scheduled to take place in Barbados on Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th, 2024.
In this competition, Skyla Connor will be participating in 6 individual races. The races in which she will be competing includes, 50m freestyle, 50m breast stroke, 50m butterfly, 50m back stroke, 100m freestyle and the 100m IM (individual medley; 100m individual race that comprises of 25m of each four strokes).
This short competition holds a great significance for Skyla Connor as it would play a huge role in preparing her for the upcoming OECS Swimming Championship, which will take place in St Vincent and the Grenadines, this upcoming November.
The St Kitts and Nevis Aquatic Federation has expressed their desire of participating in this competition and has stated that they are looking forward to represent the country once again in an international platform.
Notably, the 32nd Annual OECS Swimming Championships will take place at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Center in Ratho Mill, St. Vincent from November 8th to 10th.
While shedding light on the competition, the Federation stated that the National Swim Team is continuing to prepare for the time trial that will be held on Saturday, 28th September, 2024. The Federation asserted that they have worked all hard over the summer, where they had the chance to train with Dave Farmer, experienced and renowned World Aquatics recommended coach.
They asserted that this training has played a huge role in them focusing on stoke analysis, technique reinforcement and perfection.
2nd Inter-Club Invitational Swim Meet
This swim meet, which will be hosted by the Pirates Swim Club Barbados, has extended invitation to all the citizens to witness this exciting sport. The Pirates Swim Club stated that this meet is the perfect way for the participants to get their bodies and minds in a paced mode after the long Summer holidays and update their schedule as the athletes prepare to represent their schools in the upcoming Inter-School Swim Championships in November and for Short Course Nationals in December.
