Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Department of Gender Affairs – St Kitts has recently highlighted that it will partnership with the Spotlight Inc to host the ‘Games We Use To Play’ Summer Camp 2023.
“Spotlight Inc in partnership with the Department of Gender Affairs and Community Development and Social Services is proud to present the highly anticipated ‘Games We Use To Play’ Summer Camp 2023,” the social media post by the Department informed.
As per the update, this innovative initiative is designed to foster positive socialization among youth while simultaneously developing their collaboration and social skills.
It further informed that the inaugural session of the summer camp took place on Monday, July 10th, 2023, at the Newtown Community Centre. Participants were enthusiastically engaged in a captivating activity where they had the opportunity to create their own handmade candles. This hands-on experience not only stimulated their creativity but also provided a platform for self-expression and personal growth.
In addition to this, by combining interactive games, skill-building exercises, and engaging activities, the camp aims to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment where young individuals can forge lasting friendships, enhance their teamwork abilities, and develop a strong sense of community, as per the update shared by the Department.
