St Kitts and Nevis CIU achieves 30 major milestones under Chairman St Juste
While completing 30 days of its inception into statutory body, the unit has taken proactive measures to enhance the world-class integrity and robust foundation of the programme.

St Kitts and Nevis: As St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit is now operating as a statutory body, Chairman Calvin St Juste has implemented 30 bold initiatives for maintaining the excellence of the CBI Programme.
While completing 30 days of its inception into statutory body, the unit has taken proactive measures to enhance the world-class integrity and robust foundation of the programme. With one milestone for each day, the unit has once again set benchmark for others to offer efficient CBI Programme.
Under the leadership of Chairman Calvin St Juste, the unit has maintained integrity and set high standards for excellence. The steps such as implementation of the task force, new appointments, formation of C-Suite and staffing are aimed at fostering the response and exceptional service of the CBI Programme.
Calvin St Juste noted that each initiative has marked the growth as the unit was looking forward to seamless and efficient process. The milestones were taken to deliver value to the citizens and build the trust among the global community.
He noted,” Each initiative we’ve accomplished aims to create a seamless, efficient process for applicants and deliver exceptional service to stakeholders.”
St Juste added that first 30 days of the unit has seen intense activity with rewarding achievements. He also added that the CIU will continue to build on its achievements, striving to enhance its standards to deliver value to its citizens, investors, and the global community.
The chairman also noted that the bold steps in first 30 days were guided by the six pillars that work on the principles of transparency, efficiency and good governance.
Significant Appointments in 30 Days
On the front of the accountability and capacity building, the unit established accomplished Board of Governors, and more than 1,000 applicants were interviewed for the same. Highly qualified individuals have been interviewed and hired for specific roles in the unit. It is aimed at hiring skilled and proper staff for the functioning.
In addition to that, the formation of the C-Suite has also contributed towards the establishment of an effective team in which key leaders were determined. The C-Suit has been formed to enhance the operations while streamlining the processing of the applications within the unit.
Effective Communication
For enhancing the communication with the unit and with investors and stakeholders, the CIU has decided to form a dedicated team. The team is assigned provide accurate, timely updates to stakeholders while collaborating their work with a separate entity called “Office of the Chairman.”
The office is aimed at managing the functions of the Citizenship by Investment Unit while enhancing the position of St Kitts and Nevis CBI with quality executive decision-making. A comprehensive “Meet and Greet” sessions were also organized with Authorized agents, International Marketing Agents, and promoters.
First-in person and virtual meetings aimed at improving transparency and alignment within the unit as the communication was one of the guiding pillars of Chaiman.
Engagement and Collaborations
Calvin St Juste participated in several meetings and interacted with the agents from the middle east and Asia, aiming to promote the collaboration and efficiency of the CBI Programme. The gatherings and presentations were also hosted in major cities such as Dubai, Beijing and Shanghai, further solidifying the collaboration with the Citizenship by Investment Unit of St Kitts and Nevis.
Through these gathering, Chairman St Juste met with global stakeholders and discussed the sustainable future of the CBI Programme. The dates for the highly anticipated 2025 Investment Gateway Summit was announced, aiming to foster reputation of St Kitts and Nevis in the global citizenship sector.
Efficient Task Force and Responsive team
An efficient team has been assigned by the unit to address and resolve the backlog of applications, aiming to enhance the capability of the programme. A 24-hour response team is assigned to expedite the application process for all stakeholders. Advanced technology was used to enhance processing times with the proper management of the applications.
The unit has also taken a decision to foster the application process and said that the framework has been adopted to deliver the result of the applications in 10 weeks. The setup has been formed with the issuance of new application forms and other regularly updates.. The step was taken to streamline application processing, fostering need of new investment threshold.
Other Achievements
With steps and transitioning of CIU, the number of applications has risen, further increasing its revenue and the interest in the investors from across the globe. St Kitts and Nevis has also secured the top rank in the CBI Index 2024.
New initiatives outlined that the main applicants could sponsor dependent parents from age 55 while lowering previous threshold. Newborns are also added with the reduced free of US$7,500, making it easier for families to grow with the programme.
