Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, shared a ‘proud parent moment’ with the general public of the nation following Terrance Drew Jr’s speech for the United People’s Party (UPP) youth wing representatives during the party’s congress.
“Words can’t express the immense pride I feel as a parent today and every day,” Prime Minister Drew stated through an official social media handle.
Reportedly, the speech was delivered at the Aleeze Convention Center in Madame Estate, St. Maarten, on August 13, 2023 (Sunday).
Prime Minister Dr Drew highlighted that seeing him (his son) step forward and address the youth of Saint Maarten with such passion and enthusiasm was truly a heartwarming moment. Terrance Jr encouraged his peers to believe in the power of unity, the strength of their voices, and the importance of active participation in shaping the future of the community of St Kitts and Nevis.
While expressing his immense pride as a parent, Prime Minister Drew couldn’t be prouder of the young man he is becoming. “His dedication to fostering positive change and his commitment to uplifting the voices of the youth reflect his strong character and compassionate heart,” Drew said.
He wished, “Terrance Jr., you continue to inspire us all with your unwavering spirit and determination. May your journey be filled with success, growth, and the fulfilment of all your aspirations. The future is bright with leaders like you paving the way.”
