Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Chairman and Founder of St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA), Dr Ricardo Neil, recently paid his respect to Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, who was the former Governor-General of the nation, according to the information shared by the official page of SKNRA.
The Robotics Association lauded its chairman and mentioned, “It is commendable that Our Chairman and Founder, Dr Ricardo Neil, paid his respects to the former Governor-General, His Excellency Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, GCMG, CVO, and QC.”
Furthermore, it praised the former Governor General for his ultimate contribution towards the growth and development of the twin-island federation and mentioned that his policies and ideas have taken the nation to the next level.
“JP Sir Samuel Seaton’s notable contributions and service as Governor-General have left a lasting impact on his country, making him a revered and esteemed figure,” the St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association stated.
In addition to this, it also stated that paying respects to distinguished individuals like Sir Samuel Seaton is a gesture of honour and appreciation for their dedication, leadership, and service to the nation. It reflects a deep sense of gratitude for their contributions and the legacy they have left behind. Such gestures help to preserve the memory of remarkable leaders and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
The Association further outlined that it is heartening to see leaders like Dr R Neil recognise and acknowledge the importance of honouring those who have played significant roles in shaping the history and progress of their country. It is worth mentioning that along with the SKNRA, other prominent leaders of St Kitts and Nevis, including Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, Premier of Nevis and leader of opposition Mark Brantley also signed the book of condolence and paid their tribute to the former Governor-General Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton.
