Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Marsha Henderson, Ministry of Tourism of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, has praised the Ministry of Tourism for organizing an outstanding and highly productive consultation session with the Taxi and Tour operators on July 19, 2023.

The Minister further stated that It was truly impressive to witness firsthand the commitment and dedication of the Ministry in involving industry stakeholders in shaping the draft operations policy. This inclusive approach strengthens the foundation for a thriving tourism sector, one that benefits both operators and travellers alike.

She added that the consultation session provided an invaluable platform for taxi and tour operators to voice their concerns, share their expertise, and contribute to the formulation of policies that will shape the future of the industry.

“This open and participatory process reflects the Ministry’s genuine intention to foster a collaborative environment and ensure that the policy aligns with the needs and aspirations of all stakeholders,” said Minister Henderson.

She added, “I was particularly impressed by the level of engagement and active involvement demonstrated by both the Ministry officials and the operators present.”
