Shaquan Smith and Aaliyah Benskin crowned Mr and Miss Lux Gem Showcase 2024

Shaquan Smith and Aaliyah Benskin were crowned King and Queen in the Grand Finale of the Mr and Miss Lux Gem Showcase 2024 on Sunday evening at Frank Collymore Hall.

It is to be noted that singer and actor Nekoda Ellis gave a thrilling performance in the talent segment of the Grand Finale Showcase of the Mr and Miss Lux Gem 2024, while Trinity Weekes delivered a remarkable performance in Greatest Love of All in the talent segment. Therefore, they both were declared the first runners-up of the event.

The Organizer of the pageant and businessman, Rico Bradshaw, described the event and stated that “it was another successful pageant in the bag after the crowning of the talented duo.”

Rico Bradshaw conducted this event with the purpose of pushing others to shine, knowing that they had achieved something that they had never thought they could have achieved.

He also believes that “Winning the ultimate title is not always a success, but knowing that you have made another step in life is just as fulfilling.”

Moreover, the event was filled with lots of exciting activities, which included dance, singing and fashion, which displayed the vibrant and rich cultural heritage of the island nation.

Further, Kyrique Alleyne and Amber Hinkson bagged the titles of Mr. and Miss Lux Gem 2022 last time. Both winners fought really hard to take the top spots.

Notably, Kyrique Alleyne won in the maximum number of categories, which include Mr. Congeniality, Best Personal Style, Best Formal Wear, and The Personal and Professional Development Award.

Amber Hinkson won the hearts of the judges as she stepped out with her silk, soft and feminine pink off-the-shoulder gown with matching jewelled earrings and heels. She was also awarded the Personal and Professional Development Award. She also took the Best Introduction and the Best Special Segment Presentation.
