Homicide: SVG reports murder of Keith Davis near Ottley Hall

Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines: The country has reported a homicide case of a fatal shooting which resulted in the death of Keith Davis, alias “Engine Head” of Ottley Hall, on Wednesday.
The Major Crime Unit of the SVG police force has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Davis.
Details of Homicide
On Wednesday, around 5:00 pm, people heard the sounds of firing near Ottley Hall. As soon as they reached the scene, they found the body of the deceased Davis lying motionless in an unfurnished house.
They immediately informed the police about the matter. The officials responded to the report and arrived at the crime scene.
Upon arrival, they recovered the body of the victim and discovered a gunshot wound on his body. A medical practitioner declared Davis dead. Noting this, a post-mortem examination report is yet to be received by the police.
Notably, the SVG police force extended their support and condolences to everyone who was negatively affected by this incident. Moreover, the officials of the crime unit conducted several leads to know the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
Further, they urged the public to come forward if they have any information related to the Homicide, which can assist them with the investigation.
The news of Homicide gained lots of comments on Facebook as people expressed their concern regarding the rapid increase in crime in their country.
While reacting to the news, a person named Lynette Codougan commented, “My God why do we keep eating up each other what purpose does it make, we all are God hand made from dust we are and it shall we all return. Is there anything to prove to take any human being life, we all have our time set on this planet call Earth…God eye are Open he’s not sleeping.”
Another person, by the name of Corey John wrote, “Omg my country is gone too the dogs.”
Additionally, Homicide has serious negative effects on the lives of surviving family members, particularly children. One must understand the fact that murdering a person not only ends his life but also shatters the community by instilling fear and eroding trust.
