North Leeward Sports & Cultural Organization unveils 2024 calendar of activities

The activities listed in the calendar outline the North Leeward Sports and Cultural organization’s motive of improving the mental as well as the physical health of the youth.

The North Leeward Sports and Cultural Organization has unveiled the calendar for Sports and Culture Events scheduled throughout 2024. The activities will commence in February and will conclude between November and December.

The activities listed in the calendar outline the North Leeward Sports and Cultural organization’s motive of enhancing the mental and physical well-being of the youth.

The motive is to involve them in sports and cultural activities that can significantly contribute to skill development, including time management, ethics, and goal-setting.

Elron Lewis, the President of North Leeward Sports and Cultural Organization, described the calendar as a “complete package”.

He also added that their primary focus is to make sure that the youth of the North Leeward can be provided an opportunity to exhibit their talent and skills. He stated that their aim is the development and enhancement of sports and cultural events and activities in the region.

While focusing on the clinics outlined in the schedule, President Elron Lewis stated that “it is intended to assist the youth in the various sporting disciplines. So, we basically will go into the schools and get the youths who are interested in sports and do some clinics so that they can develop the basics.”

Various residents of the community expressed their views and shared their excitement about the calendar events. One person with a Facebook account, Carl Nash, commented, “Very interesting calendar of events; I hope I am able to witness quite a few of them in person.”

“Let me commend the organization for putting out a seemingly packed and interesting agenda of events for the year. I certainly will be looking forward to the execution of these events. I note that basketball is on the program of events a bit late in the year. However, it is better late than never. Let’s see the successful rollout,” wrote Roland Matthews.
