Antigua and Barbuda’s Shakyrah Davis charm, elegance and exceptional beauty led her to win the 2024 Miss Caribbean UK Pageant. She remained standout in her overall performances, winning four titles as well including, Overall, Winner, Evening Wear, Popular Vote, and Charity Fundraiser.
Miss Caribbean UK Pageant is an annual event that is conducted with a vision to promote, educate, inspire, and celebrate the historical and cultural impact of the Caribbean region. This competition strives to be recognized across the UK and Internationally as a premier beauty pageant that gives a chance to the Caribbean ladies to showcase their beauty and talent. This pageant empowers, inspires and motivates growth within the Caribbean Diaspora.
Following her exceptional victory at the Miss Caribbean UK Pageant 2024, the newly crowned Shakyrah Davis extended gratitude. She thanked the organizers for this event and called it a beautiful celebration of Caribbean culture and resilience.
She also extended gratitude to all her friends, lovers, supporters and mentors who supported her throughout her journey. Davis noted that the title and each award won by her reflects the incredible support that she has received from all her friends and lovers.
Davis added that it is the encouragement and motivation of all her friends who helped her in keeping aside her doubts. She stated that it was the belief of her supporters which reminded her that true success comes when they push past their fears.
She called her mother her greatest supporter, who always stood by her. “To my Mum, my greatest supporter—I love you! And to my friends and family who have stood by me, thank you with all my heart.”
The newly crowned Miss Caribbean UK also recognized her fellow finalists and lauded them for building a platform that celebrates their rich cultural heritage and promotes a sisterhood for all Caribbean women.
She stated that this crown won by her is an appreciation to all the young women of Caribbean heritage. She asked all these wonderful ladies to embrace who they are and step confidently into their future. Davis also urged each Caribbean women to lift each other up and make their voices heard. “This crown is for all of us.”
Moreover, the organizers of the Miss Caribbean UK Pageant extended congratulations to the winner. They called Davis’s journey to the crown a true testament to her resilience, dedication, and passion for representing Caribbean culture.
They stated that the Miss Caribbean UK family couldn’t be prouder of all that she has achieved on this international platform. They also lauded Davis for her positive approach and mindset of uplifting and encouraging young women of Caribbean heritage.
They thanked Davis for bringing her grace, charm and joy on the 10th anniversary of the Miss Caribbean UK Pageant. “We know you will make an indelible mark, both within the Caribbean diaspora and in all the lives you touch.”
