St Kitts and Nevis: Premier of Nevis and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mark Brantley, recently shared a glimpse of his visit to fundraising event in the heart of Brick Kiln.
The event was held to raise funds for two (2) dialysis patients from St James, Fitzroy and Lester.
Premier Brantley stated while sharing the update, “Spent a glorious afternoon in the heart of Brick Kiln at a fundraising event for two dialysis patients from St James, Fitzroy and Lester.”
Furthermore, he praised Deputy Premier of Nevis Island Administration – Alexis Jeffers and his team for successfully hosting the event.
“Kudos to Hon. Alexis Jeffers and the entire team for their Herculean effort to bring this event together,” Mark Brantley mentioned.
He also thanked the whole of Nevis and many from St Kitts who came out to support a worthy cause. There are lots to eat and drink and a ton of entertainment on offer.
He concluded, “I love to see how close-knit and loving the Nevisian community is. Let us continue to be our brother’s keeper and our sister’s helper.”
It was an all-day event that also offered the service of Breakfast and Lunch sales. The Breakfast sale was available between 5 am to 10 am, and the Lunch sale was between 12 pm to 3 pm.
The authorities also provided details about the Sunset Event, which was organised from 4 pm to 12 am. During this event, the attendees were entertained by DJ Wet Dutt, Judgment Sound, DJ Zimbam Tony and the one Man Band, Odissi Band.
The funds generated through the event were donated to Fitzroy Warner and Lester Pemberton.
