Melissa Skerrit to host Kiddies Circus Extravaganza

Rosseau, Dominica- Melissa Poponne-Skerrit, the Parliamentary Representative welcomes everyone on the occasion of the Christmas Eve Event – Kiddies Circus Extravaganza on Sunday, 24^th December 2023 at 4 pm at Botanic Gardens.

The event will witness many excellent performances by the artists including, Pan in Harmony, Waitucirque and Chinese Children from Confucius Classroom.

Music artists DJ Flash and DJ Shil are all ready to set the stage on fire through their amazing performances.

The event will also have the Christmas Village booth which will offer food, drinks, confectionaries, toys and gifts and more to its visitors.

Moreover, the government of Dominica started the Christmas Village event in order to promote local vendors and manufacturers. The events began on Friday, 15 December with a Shine like a star talent night.

This programme was enjoyed by many residents of the island nation. They witnessed amazing performances by DJ Flash, Dominica Break Dancing Association, Uliscia Jnobaptiste, Pashiwork, DSC Dance Dynasty Dance, Miracle the Illusionist magician, Delbert River, Strive star, Jose, Ansel Dance Guru and Master of Ceremony.

Kiddies Christmas Night and Gospel Concert was celebrated by the residents of Dominica on 16 and 17 December respectively. Both the kids and elderly people enjoyed the absolute magical night. Roseau Christmas Village presented Pink Ladies Night on Monday 18 Dec 2023 at 7 pm. It was a bright night with a Barbie edition. The night was graced by the electrifying performance by DJ Shil.

Under the Mistle Toe was celebrated on Tuesday, 19 December 2023 at 7 pm. The attendees of the event heard the melodies of DJ Shil and enjoyed the event.

The night of Wednesday, 20 December became memorable for the Dominica Government Band music lovers. The concert began at 7:30 pm and was hosted by Daddy Chess and Tasha.

Furthermore, the Government of Dominica also organized the Annual Children’s Christmas Party on Wednesday, 20 December from 2 to 6 pm. The event offered a lot of activities to children such as games, bouncy castles, face painting, fun activities and Santa and his helpers.

Notably, Annual Roseau Christmas District Parade was scheduled to take place on 21^st December, but unfortunately due to some circumstances, the parade was cancelled.
