Melissa Skerrit celebrates Easter, invites residents to explore several activities

Roseau, Dominica: Melissa Skerrit, the Parliamentary Representative of the Commonwealth of Dominica extended an invitation to the citizens of Dominica to celebrate Easter. The Minister is all set to host Roseau Central Constituents for the Easter Celebration on Sunday, 31st March 2024. 

The celebration will be conducted at Peebles Park Playground which will offer several activities filled with entertainment to all the attendees of the event. At 3:00 pm, the citizens will get a chance to celebrate the first event of the day “Hop on over to our annual” which will offer various exciting games to the citizens of Dominica such as Egg Hunt, Facepainting and many more. 

It has also been mentioned by Melissa Skerrit that the winners of these games will be awarded prizes in order to appreciate their participation and recognise their efforts in the games. 

Moreover, she has also planned an Easter-themed movie on the big screen which will start at 6:30 pm and all the movie lovers will be provided with a treat of delicious popcorn. She has also asked all the attendees to bring blankets along with them in order to have a memorable and comfortable experience while watching a movie.

Melissa Skerrit took to her Facebook account and extended welcome and stated “Roseau Constituents on Sunday, March 31st at Peebles Park Playground, come celebrate the Easter Season! Family, fun and festivities.”

The celebration of Easter is an annual tradition hosted by Melissa Skerrit and she hosts several activities catering to the residents of all age groups.  

The Minister of Finance, Dr Irving McIntyre also extended an invitation to the citizens of the island nation to celebrate the Children of the Roseau Valley Constituency to an Easter Hunt. The event will also be conducted on the same day from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the selected venue of Wotten Waven School Grounds. 

The facility of transportation will also be provided in order to make the travel for the citizens comfortable and safe. This activity is especially being hosted for the children in order to bring some fun and cheer to the young generation.
