Castries, Saint Lucia: JetBlue has commenced its daily services from New York to Saint Lucia from Thursday, 13th June and it will continue till 23rd July 2024. The addition of a new evening flight records the significant milestone for both JetBlue and the island nation which aims to offer enhanced travel options to all the visitors.
The expansion of services also emphasises on the strong partnership between the airline and the tourism authority. The Ministry aims to attract large number of visitors to the country and providing them excellent travel options with increase in flights.
The return flight is reported to depart from Hewanorra International Airport at 11:31 pm, with a motive to give visitors more time to explore the beautiful and hot-spot destinations of Saint Lucia.

Moreover, the tourism authority of Saint Lucia has also highlighted a substantial increase in the airlift sector of the island nation. The Ministry aims to welcome an additional 113,000 airline seats by the end of this year, marking a significant rise compared to the last year. It encompasses 40,000 more seats which is slated for Summer 2024 and an additional 3000 seats from the broader Caribbean region in comparison to the last year.
The diverse airlines which are all set to offer their expanded services to the island nation includes, JetBlue, InterCaribbean, American Airlines and Caribbean Airlines. All these airlines aim to facilitate seamless connectivity among the beautiful destinations of the island nation. Along with that, a much-awaited new service, Air Adelphi was also launched which connected Martinique, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The tourism sector of the island nation has observed a huge surge in the airlift capacity in the last few months. Saint Lucia has also remained steadfast in its commitment to deliver seamless and enhance travel experiences to all the travellers with a motive to make their visit memorable and comfortable.
With the additional and expanded services, the island nation is also making continuous efforts in order to cement their status as a premier Caribbean destination.
