Eldric Sella, a Venezuelan qualified for Tokyo Olympics

Eldric Sella, a Venezuelan, will not be representing his native country in the Tokyo Olympics as he resided in Trinidad after attempting refuge in 2018. He is out of 29 refugee athletes that are ahead to compete in Tokyo Olympics. Eldric Sella is 24 years old.

This participation of these refugee athletes will be sending a strong message of solidarity and unity to all over the world during this summer. The UN Refugee Agency said that it would be bringing further awareness to the plight of over 80 million displaced people worldwide.
