American Airlines to become first carrier for starting services from US to South Caicos

The American Airlines is all set to offer its non-stop services from USA to South Caicos from 15th February 2024.

Turks and Caicos: The American Airlines is all set to offer its non-stop services from USA to South Caicos from 15th February 2024. The airline will operate its services twice in a week i.e. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

With the launch of American Airlines to South Caicos, it will become the only U.S. airline flying to South Caicos Airport in Turks and Caicos Islands. As per the flight schedule, the aircraft will depart from Miami at 10:05 to reach South Caicos Airport by 12:27. Meanwhile, the return flight from airport will fly at 13:44 to reach Miami at 15:55.

Notably, the Envoy Air will operate its services on behalf of American Airlines with the aircraft Embraer E175 aircraft. Also, as per the latest data from ch-aviation, Envoy Air currently has 120 E175s in its fleet, each seating a total of 76 passengers and out of which 12 are first class seats.

During the launch of American’s second destination in Turks and Caicos, the Vice President for International Operations, Jose A. Freig stated that they are excited to continue strengthening their international footprint, including a winter operation of more than 190 peak-day flights to 44 destinations in the Caribbean and Atlantic.

He also asserted that with this new service, they are aiming to enhance their operation in the Caribbean and Atlantic by more than 5% as compared to the last year. He stated that their management is committed to the region and to elevate their customers with an unparalleled network.

The American’s Managing Director of Global Network Planning, Jason Reisinger also stated that American Airlines has flown to Turks and Caicos for more than 3 decades. They are thrilled to announce the only non-stop service form the U.S. to South Caicos which will start by the next February.

Moreover, the Tourism Minister of Turks and Caicos Island, Josephine Connolly also expressed her excitement on these new services and stated that this operation would prove to be great benefit for the tourism sector of the country. She stated that this new service aligns with their vision to offer diverse offerings to all its visitors.
