Roseau, Dominica: Akim Ismael, Dominica’s baker, whisked his way to the Caribbean Baking Awards. He made his country proud among all the Caribbean Nations. His achievement in multiple categories offered glory to the nation.
Akim Ismael, the baker not only showcased his potential by just bagging the first place, however got named as even ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Cake Hero’ by winning the awards in these categories.
The Caribbean Baking Awards were held in Tortola, British Virgin Islands (BVI) on February 16 and 17. The bakers from different Caribbean nations showcased their skills and presented the joy to the viewers by revealing the competitiveness.
The Dominican baker, Akim Ismael competed against the creme de la Caribbean bakers and won by showing his unique blend of skill and creativity. The flavors he added to his cake won all the hearts that he got awarded with multiple awards.
The secret behind her winning is the gooseberry infused cake that left the judges and audience even wanting a second slice. Such a part itself reveals the super delicious and tempting that it took all the attention and raised its demand.
Discover Dominica, a tourism promoting authority of Dominica shared such great information on their social media. And, even presented a special shoutout to the dynamic teams from Dominica. In this team, there were four members namely; Jodie Dublin-Dangleben, Tamara Lewis-Celestine, Jodie Shillingford-Trew, and Leandra Lander.
General public as well showed all their love to the baker through their comments. They congratulated the baker. And, such words clearly reveal the love for the baker among the public
