Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: Police officials arrested 14 persons with drugs blocks while conducting multiple exercises around the division on Friday.
Notably, officers of the Southern Division Task Force conducted a stop and search exercise between the hours of 9 am and 4:30 pm on November 30, 2023. The exercise was executed to target several drugs.
It is to be noted that eight persons, including one 72-year-old woman from Princes Town, were arrested for the Possession of Cocaine and seven men between the ages of 43 to 63.
It has been discovered that the suspects belong to Marabella and San Fernando, and they were apprehended for various drug-related offences.
Later that day, the police of the Southern Division, Area West, executed a warrant exercise in the San Fernando area between the hours of 10 am on November 30, 2023, and 3 am the next day.
It is to be added in the remarks of the officials that they have arrested six men between the ages of 37 and 52 on several outstanding warrants.
These operations were coordinated by Senior Supt Hospedales, Asp Philip and Inspector Ramlogan.
Additionally, a few days ago, Trinidad and Tobago police arrested 12 people in connection with Firearms and drugs in the Southern Division.
During an anti-crime exercise conducted between 3 am and 10 am, five search warrants were executed, and four men were arrested and charged with drug-related offences.
The exercise was coordinated by Superintendent Hospedales, ASP Philip, Inspector Ramlogan, Sgts Joseph and Mason, and other officials.
Notably, police have already led an investigation of this matter and tried to collect more proof to find out the matter accurately.
People are expected to cooperate with the police and should be aware if anything like this happens around them.
Such stances of cases need to be resolved immediately as it will risk the lives of each citizen and nation at large.
