Celebrity Cricket of Saint Lucia is all set to return

Saint Lucia: Celebrity Cricket is all set to return to Saint Lucia with an exciting line-up of matches and events. It is to be noted the matches will take place on 30th March and 31st March, 2024, at Phillip Marcellin Grounds, Vieux Fort.

The organizer of the event, AI Prince, shared information about the upcoming tournament and also shed light on the challenges faced in the past.

While recalling the memories of the last events, the organizer described the inaugural year as a wonderful experience. The second year made a step towards progress as it witnessed the addition of female teams to display the talent and skills of women in the cricketing world.

The third year was very challenging for the organizers as they faced many unanticipated challenges due to criminal activities conducted in Vieux-Fort. However, following the challenges, the fourth year is ready with a positive mindset to make a grand comeback in 2024.

AI Prince also mentioned the participation of Saint Thomas, the foreign team which is likely to add international flavours to the tournament. The event promises to offer thrilling and exciting matches to spectators.

The schedule for the Celebrity Cricket of Saint Lucia matches 2024:

30th March, 2024

• 10:00 am- St Lucia vs St Thomas
• 3:00 pm- Female Celebrities
• 6:00 pm- Male Celebrities

31st March, 2024

• 10:00 am- Celebrity Cricket knockout competition from St Thomas and three local teams.
