Tobago Tourism Agency to host FOURCE Festival, feature dance, film, drama and music
Tobago Tourism Agency is all set to host incredible program, packed with immersive events in dance, film, drama and music. The island nation has extended invitation to all the citizens to dive into the vibrant world of Tobago’s performing arts and let their creative spirit soar at FOURCE on Saturday, 1st June 2024 at Shaw Park Complex.

Tobago: Tobago Tourism Agency is all set to host incredible program, packed with immersive events in dance, film, drama and music. The island nation has extended invitation to all the citizens to dive into the vibrant world of Tobago’s performing arts and let their creative spirit soar at FOURCE on Saturday, 1st June 2024 at Shaw Park Complex.
The Fource Festival will host four events on the said day, starting from FOURCE Festival Drama which will commence with the “Theory In 10” Fass Fource – Drama Playlets & Workshop. The workshop will start at 10:00 am and will feature a beautiful combination of theoretical and practical activities and performances. These performances will be performed by the youngest performers from Scarborough and Signal Hill Secondary School.
Following that, “De Fourth Flambeau” will be hosted at the main theatrical production at 4 pm by Kevin Soyer, a powerful production who are addressing the issues of violence against women in Trinidad and Tobago.
The workshops will play a huge role in guiding the attendees, building their confidence, developing their creativity as well, and improving their fluency, language, voice projection, articulation of words, and many more.
After that the festival will offer a treat to the dance lovers as they will be given an opportunity to explore the vibrant and rich cultural heritage of the limbo dance at the “Limbo unveiled” dance lecture with Darcelle Kirk. Subsequently, Dance Masterclass, “Catch it Quick” will be conducted, led by the famous John Chapman also known as “Chappy.”
Film Psyche Series panel discussion will also be conducted to explore the Caribbean eye and identity in filmmaking, with renowned figures like Asha Lovelace of Africa Film Trinidad and Tobago and the team from E-Pixl Studios. Along with that, a special screening of the remake of the 80s Tobagonian soap opera “Turn of the Tide will also be hosted, which will further be followed by a panel discussion with the cast and crew members from both the original and the remake.
Finally, for the music lover, “Mind Yuh Business”, a Music Masterclass will be conducted with General Manager of MusicTT, Melissa Jiminez, and “Performance Artistry” with the famous vocal powerhouse Sharon Phillips.
