Annalise Nanton crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2024
A 26-year-old geotechnical engineer, Annalise Nanton has been crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2024.

Trinidad and Tobago: A 26-year-old geotechnical engineer, Annalise Nanton has been crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2024. She claimed the title on Sunday at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA). Nanton’s victory is a testament to her grace, intelligence and beauty that have truly shone throughout the event.
Annalise Nanton competed over 16 contenders to claim the title of Miss World T&T 2024. She, representing Pax Vale near Santa Cruz also defeated the crowd favourites Miss Toco, Miss Tobago, Miss Maraval and vowed the judges with her responses in the final round. Moreover, Prishini Rampersadshingh and Hanna Roberts were announced as the first and second runners up respectively.
Her performance in the pageant reflected her as a perfect combination of beauty and brain who answered all the questions of the judges with grace and intelligence. She not only earned the title but also claimed the right to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the highly anticipated Miss World Festival which will take place in February 2025.
Along with that, she was also honoured with several tags which emphasises that her talent and beauty has no bounds. She claimed tags including, People’s Choice, Miss Fitness, Top Model and Best Talent Awards which is a testament to her hard work, dedication and the love she is receiving from the residents of her community.
Annalise Nanton is also the founder of the non-profit organization Sister Strong. She is also a national scholarship winner from Santa Cruz and has been using her to promote women through sports and fitness, she encourages them to embrace their strength, beauty, build confidence and foster a sense of community.
She has always focused on main aspect of her life which is beauty with a purpose, she feels that such events are not just a beauty pageant but a developmental programme for young women to train themselves or showcase their talent to the entire world.
Following her victory, residents took to their social media accounts and congratulated her on claiming the title. One person with Facebook handle, Lystra Wallace wrote “Congratulations!! Extremely proud that you are from Santa Cruz.”
Another person with a Facebook account, Bridgid Annisette-george, commented, “Congratulations!! It is time we gave the World a SJC repeat of brains beauty good taste and style. Best wishes.”
