SVG and Grenada to be benefitted by St Kitts and Nevis Relief Supplies Drive 2024
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of St Kitts and Nevis has focused on a National Hurricane Beryl Relief Supplies Drive for St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of St Kitts and Nevis has focused on a National Hurricane Beryl Relief Supplies Drive for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada. This drive will commence on Friday July 5, for the people and dependents of the region.
The NEMA has issued a notice to request the support of the people partners and stakeholders of the NEMA for their contribution to the effort of national relief in support of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada.
Regarding the National Hurricane Beryl Relief Supplies, the initiatives will commence on Friday July 5, 2024, and will prevail till 19th of July 2024. The concerned body has informed the public that no item other than the listed ones on the needs and accommodation list will be accepted.
The list of the necessary accommodations is mentioned below in accordance with the region of service-

- Non-perishable food items (milk, vegetables, sardines, etc)
- Pillows
- Batteries
- Books/ coloring books for children
- Coats and sleeping blankets
- Hygiene kits for children
- Hygiene kits for adults
- Toiletries
- First aid kits
- Fuel cans
- Sanitary napkins
- Baby Formula
- Baby pampers and wipes
- Adult pampers
- Hand Sanitizers
- Reflective Vests
- Emergency Solar/ battery operated radios
- Flashlights
- 5-gallon Jerry cans (water)
- Collapsible water bladders (3000 gallons or bigger)

- Pillows

- Mattress (single/ double)

- 5-gallon Jerry cans (water)

NEMA has issues certain guidelines related to the package Delivery/ Drop off. Those are mentions below-
- All the items must be packed properly in boxes or suitable packaging materials.
- Collection of the contributions will be done at the NEMA Warehouse.
- The Drop off schedule will be from Monday to Friday, between the timing of 9am to 3pm.
- Please use acronym SVG for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and GND for Grenada for the packages.
- Do not seal the packages until verified by the receiving officer.
- Information is to be provided to the receiving officer such as the name, contacts, and number of packages about the deliverer.
- All the contributions must be directed to the governing body of the intended state. Personal or individual contributions to parties other than the government of the intended state will not be accepted.
- Monetary contributions will not be accepted at the NEMA, information regarding the same will be provided later with the banking details.
- Please assure that no expired items or damaged items are donated.
