St Lucia: The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has informed the candidates, who are registered for the May-June 2022 CXC Exam.

St Lucia: Education Ministry shares revised timetable for 2022 May-June CXC Exam

St Lucia: The Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science Technology and Vocational Training has informed the candidates, who are registered for the May-June 2022 Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) Examinations, that the timetable will be revised.

As per the Ministry, secondary school candidates can access their revised timetables on the CXC Student Portal at https://studentportal.cxc.org/.

It further mentioned that the private candidates should collect their revised timetables at their registration location – the Educational Evaluation and Assessment Unit, 3rd Floor, Francis Compton Building, Waterfront, the District 6 Education Office in Vieux Fort or the District Eight Education Office in Soufriere.

Private candidates who collected their timetables before April 27, 2022, are asked to present them when collecting the revised timetable.

The Education Ministry has further apologized for any inconvenience and asked the candidates to understand and cooperate.

“The Ministry has apologized for any inconvenience caused and requests the patience of all concerned,” the ministry said.

The CXC is an institution that provides regional and internationally recognized secondary school leaving examinations relevant to the region’s needs. The Council examination assists in the Common Entrance and other examinations, produce teaching materials, trains teachers to use the CXC syllabi, and advises regional governments on education.

It was established in the year 1972. The members are: Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Guyana, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks as well as Caicos Islands.

The council also admits external entries from St Maarten and Saba of the Netherlands Antilles.
