Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The twin-island Federation of St Kitts and Nevis is all set to welcome its most entertaining and loved event – Restaurant Week. The tourism authority of the island nation has welcomed all the foodies and travel enthusiasts to come and enjoy the food festival.
The update regarding the same was shared through the official page of St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week. Through the Facebook post, it called all the interested people and stated, “Calling All Foodies! St Kitts & Nevis Restaurant Week is BACK!”
Furthermore, it appealed to the people to stay tuned for further updates, such as the calendar, artists performing etc. “Stay tuned on our social platforms for more news on this year’s calendar of events that promises grand experiences coupled with the best flavours of Kittitian and Nevisian cuisine,” the social media post informed.
According to the update by the tourism authority of St Kitts and Nevis, the festival will be celebrated between July 13 and 23, 2023. The event brings together the best restaurants across both islands to showcase their unique menus and culinary skills with special prix-fixe menus and discounts.
During Restaurant Week, visitors and locals alike can indulge in a range of delicious dishes, from traditional seafood platters and spicy curries to fusion cuisine and contemporary twists on local ingredients. Each participating restaurant will offer a three-course menu for lunch and dinner.
The event is not just about showcasing the islands’ culinary talent but also about promoting sustainable practices and local agriculture. Many of the restaurants will feature locally sourced ingredients, from fresh seafood caught by local fishermen to organic produce grown by farmers on the islands. Visitors can learn more about the island’s culinary culture and support local businesses by participating in farm tours, cooking classes, and other food-related activities.
St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week is also an opportunity to experience the islands’ vibrant cultural scene, with live music performances, art exhibitions, and other events taking place throughout the week.
