The passengers were also asked to check in by 0500, considering the weather system affecting the region and ensuring the safety and security of all the travelers.
Notably, all the flights that were scheduled to operate on June 30 at Hewanorra International Airport and George F.L. Charles Airport were suspended due to Hurricane Beryl as the island nation was in effect. The flights which were canceled include,

Also, the government of Saint Lucia also held a preliminary assessment of the damages caused due to Hurricane Beryl. It indicates that damages have been made to several banana farms, fallen trees, downed power lines and landslides in some areas. The Soufriere waterfront was also impacted by storm surge activity. Not only this, Laborie and other coastal communities were also affected by flooding on the west coast.
In Vieux-Fort, the main jetty facility used by the Police Force’s Marine Unit was completely destroyed due to storm surge activity associated with Major Hurricane Beryl. Strong winds also damaged homes and forced some residents to relocate to local emergency shelters.
