The Saint Lucia National Cricket Association conducted the award ceremony in order to felicitate and acknowledge the best performers who have made remarkable achievements and created huge milestones in the field of cricket for their country.

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Saint Lucia National Cricket Association conducted the award ceremony to felicitate and acknowledge the best performers who have made remarkable achievements and created huge milestones in the field of cricket for their country.
It is to be noted that the event took place on Friday at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground. Various renowned individuals attended the award ceremony and graced the occasion with their presence.
The award ceremony was conducted with the motive to encourage sportspersons and motivate them to work even harder to achieve greater achievements in higher-level competitions.
The attendees of the event include the president of the Saint Lucia National Cricket Association, Wayne Auguste, Minister for Youth, Development and Sports of the country, Kenson Casimir, Guest Speaker and Director General of the OECS, Dr Didicus Jelus, the Sports Director, Clivus Jules.
Along with that many others including, nominees for the awards, awardees, parents and many members of the media attended the event.

Junior Male Cricketer: Tarrique Edward
Junior Female Cricketer: Zaida James
Senior Male Cricketer of the Year: Johnson Charles
Senior Female Cricketer of the Year: Qiana Joseph
Lifetime Achievement Award: Pamela Alfred, Keith Charles, and Julian Charles
Coach of the Year: Garey Mathurin
The administrator of the Year: Donald Albert
Community Achievement Award: Northern Cluster – Alton Crafton

Moreover, Johnson Charles and Qiana Joseph have also been shortlisted for the nominees of the 42nd Annual Sports Awards. They both have been selected in the categories of Sports Man of the Year and Sports Woman of the Year respectively. Now, both the winners will be eying on the National Award as well.

Ministry of Youth, Development and Sports also extended congratulations to all the winners of the award and recognized their unwavering commitment and dedication towards the sport. The Ministry also acknowledged the outstanding achievements of the cricketers throughout the year.
Such award ceremonies play a crucial role in encouraging sportsmanship and enhancing nation-building by creating a sense of pride and unity.
