The Health Ministry of the Bahamas has released the COVID-19 vaccination schedule for New Providence for first and second doses.

Nassau, Bahamas: The Health Ministry of the Bahamas has released the COVID-19 vaccination schedule for New Providence for first and second doses.
Following are the vaccination centres providing vaccines from 12 – 16 October –
- Loyola Hall, Gladstone Road –
Vaccine available – Johnson and Johnson
Will be open on Thursday and Friday from 9 am – 3 pm.
- Church of God Prophecy, East St. –
Vaccine available – Astrazeneca (second dose)
Will be open on Thursday and Friday from 9 am – 3 pm.
- University of the Bahamas –
Vaccine available – Pzifer (second dose) and Johnson and Johnson
Will be open only on Thursday from 10 am – 4 pm.
- Kendal G.L. Issacs Gym, University DR. –
Vaccine available – Pzifer (second doses)
Will be open only on Thursday and Friday from 9 am – 3 pm.
- St. Anselm’s Church, Bernard Road –
Vaccine available – Pzifer (second doses)
Will be open on Thursday and Friday from 9 am – 3 pm.
The Health Ministry has informed that the first jabs of the Pzifer COVID-19 vaccine will not be administered.
According to the statistics, till now, a total of 127,798 individuals have received their first dose of the vaccine, excluding Johnson and Johnson. On the other hand, there are a total of 115,153 individuals in the Bahamas who have received their second dose of the COVID vaccines, including Johnson and Johnson.
The COVID-19 vaccination report by the Health Ministry notes that in total, 238,512 jabs of the novel coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the island country.

For making an appointment for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, one can go to – vax.gov.bs.
Health Minister further advised the citizens to abide by the COVID-19 health protocols and encouraged them to take their shots of the vaccine.
