Daena Soares is crowned as the ‘Miss Universe Jamaica 2021’ and will be representing Jamaica at the international stage – ‘Miss Universe’ finals, which are going o take place on December 12 in Eilat, Israel.

Kingston, Jamaica: Daena Soares is crowned as the ‘Miss Universe Jamaica 2021‘ and will be representing Jamaica at the international stage – ‘Miss Universe’ finals, which are going o take place on December 12 in Eilat, Israel.
The 22-year-old is alumni of UWI – University of West Indies. Soares competed with nine contenders for the title at the Riu Montego Bay hotel on Saturday.
Trishani Weller and Lauren Less were second and third runner ups, respectively.
Official Instagram account of Miss Universe Jamaica congratulated the winner and asserted, “Congratulations, Daena Soares, for winning the 2021 Riu Miss Universe Jamaica Beauty Fashion and Wellness Pageant. Deana will now represent Jamaica at the 70th Miss Universe Pageant in Israel”.

In April 2021, she was also crowned as the “Miss Universe Jamaica Center 2021″.
She hails from – Junction, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. From the year – 2011 to 2017, Soares went to Hampton School. From the year of – 2017 to 2020, she went to the University of West Indies, Mona in Kingston, Jamaica, to pursue her bachelor’s degree in anatomy.
In January 2017, she attended Margaritaville Negril, Jamaica, then in July 2017, she went to – Lovers’ Leap in St. Elizabeth. In July 2018, she was in Wynwood, Miami, Florida, the United States, after which in February 2019, she competed for the title of – Miss Towers 2019, where she finished in the Top 6.
Not only this, but from time to time, she keeps her point of view forward and raises her voice for the people to get them justice. Last year on June 1, she took to Instagram to support the social media campaign seeking justice for George Floyd. While in October 2020, she visited the – YS Falls in St. Elizabeth.
Daena’s fans have congratulated her and wished her good luck for the competition of Miss Universe.
A fan commented on her Instagram post, “Congratulations on your win. You were absolutely radiant on stage and hair and all”.
