The nation is all set to host Nevis Culturama Festival & Homecoming Celebration Fringe activities from 5th July to 6th August 2024. It is to be noted that Premier Mark Brantley unveiled the schedule for the activities.

Nevis: The nation is all set to host Nevis Culturama Festival & Homecoming Celebration Fringe activities from 5th July to 6th August 2024. It is to be noted that Premier Mark Brantley unveiled the schedule for the activities. 

Notably, this year the island nation marks the 50th anniversary of the festival which highlights the country’s vibrant culture and traditions of the country.

Moreover, the festival is being celebrated under the theme “Celebrating Culture, Embracing History, It’s Culturama 50.” The event will offer all its visitors several activities which include, poetry nights, craft and food fairs, Soca Monarch competitions, pageants, street parades, sports racing and many more. 

The schedule for the Nevis Culturama Festival & Homecoming Celebration Fringe activities

5th July – 7th July: Nevis Mango Festival at Various Venues.

6th July, Saturday: Ministry of Tourism Night Market at Artisan Village. 

12th July, Friday: Health Promotion, adult game night – C50 Edition at 5 Trees Bar.

13th July, Saturday: St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week Tasting Showcase at MGR Park and Summer Escape at TBD. 

14th July, Sunday: Jr Socadon (Junior Soca Monarch Competition) at Cultural Village. 

19th July, Friday: Culturama Sunset Pre- J’ ouvert Fitness Jam at TBD and Richards Promotions 5 in 1 Fete – Morning after Edition at Cultural Village. 

21st July, Sunday: Culturama Games at Nevis Athletic Stadium. 

23rd July, Tuesday: Ms. Dainty Competition at Nevis Cultural Complex.

26th July, Friday: AMP Promotions (Silent Headphone Bring De Vybes Party) at TBD. 

27th July, Saturday: Empire Sports Club Aquatic Extravaganza at Charlestown Waterfront and Tropixx – (The Culturama 50 Edition) at MGR Park. 

28th July, Sunday: St Kitts and Nevis Berridge/Howell Cricket Match 1 at E.T. Willett Park and Yubrenta’s Sunday Brunch at Yubrenta’s Bar and Snackette.

31st July, Wednesday: Rhythms of the Arts dance ensemble – Nostalgia at NEPAC, Win entertainment C50 Bingo at Cultural Village and Homecoming night at Herbert’s Beach.

2nd August, Friday: Department of Agriculture Fruit Festival at MGR Park. 

4th August, Sunday: Culturama Soca Cruise at Prince Devonte and St Kitts vs Nevis Berridge/ Howell cricket match 2 at ET Willett Park.

5th August, Monday: Herbert’s Beach affair at Herbert’s Beach and Ms Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant at Cultural Complex. 

Furthermore, Premier Mark Brantley also pledged to display beautiful culture and entertainment through this festival. The event will also play a pivotal role in enhancing the tourism sector of the island nation as the event will attract many visitors, offering them activities filled with fun and entertainment.
