Calypso Icon- Denyse Plummer
Additionally, T&T remembered and paid tribute to its calypso icon- Denyse Plummer-Boocock, who was laid to rest on September 6.
The National Archives celebrated her life with some snippets from its Newspaper Collection, showcasing her 2001 win at the National Calypso Monarch.
Notably, following the footsteps of legendary Calypsonians Calypso Rose and Singing Sandra, she became the third woman to secure the National Calypso Monarch title.
