Portsmouth Feast of St. Peters offering diverse experience to community member

Dominica: The Portsmouth Feast of St. Peters is offering a plethora of experiences to the residents of community. The people from Portsmouth are enjoying a weekend filled with delicious local cuisine, vibrant music with family and friends.

This feast of 3 days, effective from 28th June is being held under the patronage of Parliamentary Representative – Fenella Wenham. This event is being conducted in order to bring together the people of community and offer them an experience like no other.

This feast will not only entertain the residents of Portsmouth community but will also attract large number of people from the other communities and tourists as well. Several musical artists will grace the feast with their electrifying performances, offering diverse array of entertainment.

The Parliamentary Representative extended welcome to all the residents and asked people to join them at a feast for weekend of fun, food and festivities. She asked people to bring their friends and family member to celebrate the live music and delicious delicacies of the island nation.

It is also a great opportunity for the residents of the community to showcase their talent and creativity and sell their locally produced goods and services, generating huge amount of revenues. Along with that, the event will also include Blessing of Boats with a vision to enhance the market for fisheries in Portsmouth.

Friday, 28th June 2024

The event began with the performances of several musical artists and musicians, and the attendees got an opportunity to dance to their tunes at the Old Market Site. The people were entertained by the thrilling performances of artists including, DJ Melboom, DJ Kubuli, Signal Band and Triple Kay.

Saturday, 29th June 2024

The second day of the event is the Fish Night which would be a great platform for the fisherfolks to display their products at Sea Bird Bar and Grill. Along with that, the attendees will also get an opportunity to enjoy the display of varieties of fish and purchase the one that they like.

Along with that, the attendees will again be offered with exciting musical performances of artists like MFR, DJ Maxi and DJ Remzz at Old Market Site.

Sunday, 30th June 2024

The final day of the feast is a Family Fun Day where the people belonging to different ages will be offered with memorable experience. Along with that, Blessing of Boats will also be held where several participants will race on their boats. The attendees will also be offered with musical performances of artists like Riddim Knockaz, Slyme Hoyss, Latitude Stars Band and DJ MS.
