No active case in Dominica with no death reported till present due to COVID-19
The Dominica is now corona free country with 0 active cases of COVID-19

New COVID-19 data issued by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment, Dominica. The data reveals that the total active cases of COVID-19 have moved to 0. Now with this, Dominica has 0 active cases of COVID-19 virus with 0 death till now in Dominica.
From the day pandemic hit Dominica, the health department have tested 17,381 people, out of which 17,193 were reported negative, and 188 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 virus.
From the starting of tracing the contacts, if they are infected or not, the government identified 976 contacts, and all were cleared. Now there are 22 persons who are quarantined.
The total number of positive cases from the starting of the COVID-19 virus was 188, out of which all recovered now, and Dominica now has 0 active cases.
In Dominica, 19,970 people received their first shot of vaccine and 17,430 have been fully vaccinated with having 2 shots according to the time.
Dominica, on 6 April 2021, received 28,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines through the COVAX Facility.
The government provided their COVID-19 Hotline numbers for assisting the citizens (767)448-2151, (767) 448-2153, (767) 448-2156, (767) 611-4325, 1800-219 with the data given by the Health Ministry.
The government of Dominica on 1 March, the first case in the country and the Caribbean, was confirmed. A 62-year-old man from Italy entered the country on 22 February and fell ill on 24 February, when he was transferred to Ramón Lara military hospital from the beach resort of Bayahibe. The second case was found when A Canadian tourist was tested positive.
The released COVID-19 data of Dominica also shows that there are a total of 170,695,962 confirmed cases of COVID-19 all around the world, out of which 152,688,588 instances have been recovered. The death count reported due to COVID-19 has reached 3,550,234 across the globe.
