United Airlines to restart operations between New Jersey and Trinidad

The United Airlines is all set to restart its operation between New Jersey and Port of Spain from 19th December 2024. The airline is ready to resume its services after several years of shutting the route between both the destinations.

The United Airlines is all set to restart its operation between New Jersey and Port of Spain from 19th December 2024. The airline is ready to resume its services after several years of shutting the route between both the destinations.

The airline will offer seasonal non-stop services from Newark Liberty International Airport to Piarco International Airport from 19th December 2024 to 6th January 2025.

As per the details, flight UA 1904 will depart from New Jersey at 7:00 pm and will arrive in Port of Spain at 1:05 am. Meanwhile, the return flight will take off from Port of Spain at 2:20 am and will arrive back in New Jersey at 6:55 am. The United Airlines will operate its services on the route between New Jersey and Port of Spain, by using Boeing 737 Max 8s.

Following the announcement, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts of Trinidad and Tobago, Randall Mitchell expressed his excitement on restarting of the services. He stated that it is indeed a welcoming news for the island nation and restart of the operation between both the countries will add much-needed airlift and seat capacity during the busy Christmas season.

He expressed excitement on restarting these services and stated that they are eager to continue discussing with United Airlines on enhanced frequency to and from Port of Spain for the next year. United Airlines currently offering its daily non-stop services to Houston, Texas and this will be the first time that airline will offer its services between Port of Spain and New Jersey since the COVID-19 pandemic.

This significant move by the United Airlines of resuming its services will play a huge role in bringing large number of visitors to the country and stated that it would directly benefit the tourism sector to a great extent. The tourism minister remarked that the tourists will also get a chance to explore the vibrant culture and traditions of the country.

The tourism minister is optimistic about this restarting of the flight services between both the destinations and added that they are looking forward to enhance the economy of the country.
