The vessel full of illegal immigrants was stopped along the coastline of the Erin Beach front.

Moreover, a similar case happened a few years back, too, when the officers of the South Western Division Task Force detained 22 Venezuelans for illegally entering Trinidad on Sunday, 16th August 2020.

According to the sources, the officials received information that a boat filled with Venezuelan nationals was seen walking from the Palo Seco Beach and were proceeding to the James Street area.
