Trinidad & Tobago: Schedule of vaccination sites for January 22 and 23

Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago: The Ministry of Health and Wellness shared the COVID-19 vaccination schedule and time of numerous sites across the island country, urging the population to take their COVID-19 jabs.  

The WHO-approved Johnson and Johnson, Pzifer, and Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines are currently being administered by the healthcare staff at the vaccination centres.  

Below is the schedule for Saturday, January 22, 2022: 

• NORTH 

*Paddock, Queen’s Park Savannah: to operate from 9 am to 3 pm. 

• EAST 

*COSTAATT, El Dorado: to remain open from 8 am ton 3pm . 

*Wallerfield International Raceway: will operate from 8 am to 3 pm. 

*Larry Gomes Stadium: open from 8 am to 3 pm. 

• SOUTH 

*Southern Academy for the Performing Arts – SAPA: to remain open from 8 am to 12 noon (afternoon). 

• CENTRAL 

*UTT, Chaguanas Campus: will administer the COVID-19 vaccine doses from 8 am to 3 pm. 

Following is the vaccination schedule of the sites for Sunday, January 23, 2022: 

• EAST 

*COSTAAT, El Dorado and Wallerfield International Raceway to remain open from 8 am to 3 pm. 

Meanwhile, all the other vaccination centres will remain closed on Sunday.  

According to the statistics, there are a total of 716,599 individuals who are partially vaccinated by taking their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. On the other hand, there are a total of 683,401 persons in Trinidad and Tobago who have obtained their required number of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine doses and are now fully immunised against the deadliest viral disease. 

The island currently is having a total of 18 034 active cases of the novel coronavirus, as it is recording the highest number of daily COVID infections from the past few weeks. 

Meanwhile, the opposition party leader, United National Congress – UNC, Kamla Persad Bissessar, raised questions on the government, noting that it has failed to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in an efficient manner, which has led to a rise in daily infections.
