SVG Air Grenada resumes flights, operating 6 days in week

SVG Air Grenada has resumed the operations between St Vincent and the Grenadines following the long break. These operations were stopped due to the devastating effects of the Hurricane Beryl in both the nations and are all now set to offer breathtaking beauty of Grenada and Carriacou with SVG Air to all their visitors.

The 19-seater Twin Otter aircraft who will offer their services on all the days of the week except Thursday has promised to offer plethora of experiences to all their passengers, ensuring their visit memorable and comfortable.

As per the weekly schedule to Grenada and Carriacou unveiled by the airline, six flights will operate in a day, offering an experience like no other. According to the new schedule all six flights will operate from and to carricaou, two from Grenada and two to Grenada. Whereas one flight will take off to St Vincent to Carricau and one will reach St Vincent from Carricaou.

The first flight will take off at 8:00 am from St Vincent to Carriacou and then the return flight at 5:00 pm from Carriacou to reach St Vincent and the Grenadines.

On the other hand, the airline will offer services from Grenada to Carriacou, taking off at 9:20 am and the return flight will fly at 4:00 pm from Carriacou to reach Grenada. Two other flights from the airlines will take off including one from Grenada to Carriacou at 4:30 pm and the other from Carriacou will fly at 8:40 am to reach Grenada.

While shedding light on resuming of the services, the Station Manager of SVG Air Grenada, Dexter Lendore stated that though the systems are not yet fully operational but still flights into Carriacou will resume immediately.

On resuming of the operations, the Grenada Airport Authority also expressed excitement and stated that they are committed to ensuring the readiness of all critical personnel, facilities and services. They stated that it is their duty to offer safe, secure and efficient operations and for the same, they are restoring and upgrading works until all the services are restored effectively.
