St Maarten to launch new digital entry form for smoother, faster check-ins
Princess Juliana International Airport, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic, and Telecommunication (TEATT), has announced the launch of a new, user-friendly operating system for online registrations.

St Maarten: Princess Juliana International Airport, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic, and Telecommunication (TEATT), has announced the launch of a new, user-friendly operating system for online registrations. This innovative digital registration system will enhance the passengers’ check-in experience.
The Ministry of Tourism at St Maarten, while announcing this, stated that it is designed to streamline the check-in process. This user-friendly platform will allow travelers to easily register their information online before arriving in the country.
Additionally, this would make the immigration process smoother and faster.
The travelers arriving at Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) can start using this newly launched streamlined process beginning from October 8th, 2024.
The Ministry shared that after the website that is sxmentry.com will be available by August and will and act as the major resource that will take and save all the critical information from the travellers entering the borders of the country through Princess Juliana International Airport.
Sharing the update on the official Facebook Page of Princess Juliana International Airport, the authorities stated that with the launch of this new entry form, the visitors can complete this up to 7 days before their flight.
Sharing the insights on the project, the authorities mentioned it as “fast, easy, and ensures that one can start enjoying your vacation the moment they land.”
Additionally, the Ministry of TEATT, St Maarten shared that the project still has a lot of updates to undergo, which include enabling of biometric processing that would help in even quicker border control. These advanced systems will improve safety and will ensure risk management.
Assuring the public of the privacy of the data, the Authorities ensured that the data would be protected under GDPR standards, with a vision to offer a secure and efficient travel experience.
In addition, the authorities of St Maarten stated that further details regarding website registration processes, functionalities, and key information will be shared closer to the actual launch.
