St Kitts Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson shares CBI updates, invites people to visit

St Kitts and Nevis: Tourism, Civil Aviation and Urban Development Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Marsha Henderson, addressed the audience at a cocktail event in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

During the event, Henderson highlighted the latest developments of the Citizenship by Investment Programme of St Kitts and Nevis. While inviting the people to the beautiful country of the Caribbean, the minister stated that the Federation is known for compelling travel experiences, natural beauty, exciting events as well as exceptional hospitality.

She further recalled the successful tourism year in St Kitts and Nevis. She said, “We experienced tourism success, as seen this summer with the St Kitts Music Festival and the successfully executed Restaurant Week in July.” Henderson then, stated that St Kitts and Nevis had bagged awards for many tourism-friendly activities, such as the Best Caribbean Hiking Destination from the Caribbean Journal and World Travel Awards as the Caribbean’s Leading Dive Destination.

She furthermore stated that the nation has much to offer beyond the 3 ‘s’ – sun, sand, and sea. The destination boasts around 250 historical sites dotted with 68 plantations as well as breathtaking vistas.

Henderson also outlined that the government of the Federation has lifted the COVID-19-related travel protocols and is now welcoming travellers regardless of vaccination status; visitors are no longer asked to bring negative COVID-19 reports. She added that the island’s hotels and restaurants are now open as well as experiential tours and offerings are now fully operational. Henderson informed that airlifts from the UK and, the US, Canada continue to be available, facilitating travel into St Kitts and Nevis.
