St Kitts nominated in four categories of World Travel Awards 2024

Basseterre, St Kitts: St Kitts, one of the most beautiful and adventurous Caribbean destinations has made its place in the nominees list of the World Travel Awards 2024. It is to be noted that the nominations for the awards have been unveiled and the island nation has been nominated in the four categories.

It is to be noted that Minister for Foreign Affairs, Denzil Douglas requested the citizens of the nation to vote for St Kitts and make the country shine in the World Travel Awards 2024.

“Now, it’s time for you to play a vital role in shaping the destiny of our destination. Show your support by casting a vote. Together, let’s catapult St. Kitts to the summit of success at the World Travel Awards 2024,” noted Denzil Douglas.

World Travel Awards is one of the most prestigious award programmes which is celebrated annually to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in all sectors. The sectors include airline, hotel, hospitality, tourism and many more.

St Kitts has been nominated in four categories, including, 

1. St Kitts Tourism Authority is nominated in the category of Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board.
2. St Kitts is also nominated in the category of Caribbean’s leading adventure tourism destination 2024.
3. The island nation has also made it to the nominee’s list of the Caribbean’s leading Cultural Destination 2024.
4. St Kitts is also nominated in the category of Caribbean’s leading Dive Destination 2024.

Moreover, in the year 2023 also, St Kitts was nominated in the four categories for the World Travel Awards and in the same categories as this year. St Kitts was named as the Caribbean’s leading Dive Destination 2023 for its beautiful blue waters, where the diverse underwater world makes everyone dive into it.

Along with that, three more awards were won by St Kitts in the World Travel Awards 2023 which include,

1. Belle Mont Farm Resort won the award for St Kitts and Nevis’s leading hotel in 2023.
2. Five-Bedroom Mahogany Hill Estate at Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies was awarded the St Kitts and Nevis’s leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2023.
3. Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies was also awarded the St Kitts and Nevis Leading Resort 2023.

St Kitts will be hoping to emerge victorious this year also as such recognitions play a pivotal role in enhancing the tourism sector of the island nation. Improvement in the tourism sector will enhance the economic conditions of the country, which will further contribute to the growth and development of the nation.
